Erin and Simon’s Sunrise Tent Ridge Elopement in Kananaskis was nothing short of unforgettable!
The day began incredibly early, with a 2:30 a.m (yes, A.M!!) start to make it to the summit in time for sunrise. As the very first people on the ridge that morning, Erin and Simon were greeted with an unforgettable sunrise and panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains.
The weather kept everyone on their toes. A chilly wind swept across the summit, but it only added to the adventure. Wrapped in the quiet of the early morning (and with peanut butter and jam sandwiches!), Erin and Simon exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by some of Alberta’s most breathtaking scenery. Their ceremony was officiated by Married by Cole, making the moment feel personal, intimate, and true to who they are.
Tent Ridge continues to be a favourite location for adventurous couples dreaming of an unforgettable mountain elopement. Between the incredible sunrise, sweeping alpine views, and the feeling of having the mountains almost entirely to yourselves, it’s a truly magical place to begin a marriage!
