As a photographer, there are few things more special than being able to capture the love between two people, especially when those two people happen to be friends of yours. Meaghan and Brent’s Calgary engagement session was a session with laughter, love, and pure magic. Join me as I take you through their journey, from the heart of Calgary’s urban landscape to the serene beauty of its parks.
Two Locations, Two Vibes: Prince’s Island Park and High Park
Meaghan and Brent wanted their engagement photos to reflect the different aspects of their relationship and personalities. And what better way to do that than by visiting two distinct locations in the heart of Calgary? We started our day at Prince’s Island Park, a beautiful natural oasis amidst the city’s hustle and bustle. The city skyline in the background added a touch of urban charm to the photos, creating a unique blend of nature and city vibes.
After the delightful session at Prince’s Island Park, we made our way to High Park, a fabulous urban park in Downtown Calgary. The vibrant paint colours and props allowed Meaghan and Brent’s connection to shine against this city backdrop.
While the Calgary engagement session was a day filled with joy, laughter, and love, it was also a prelude to the big event—Meaghan and Brent’s wedding. As we wrapped up the shoot, I couldn’t help but feel the excitement building for their upcoming nuptials in Canmore next year.
Their love story is truly one for the books, and I’m honoured to be a part of their journey, from friends to engaged, and soon, to happily married. I can’t wait to be there to capture the magic of their wedding day in the stunning natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Thank-you Meaghan and Brent for trusting me with your special day!
